On behalf of the municipality of Dronten, Delfion has installed a temporary care shower for a resident with an acute care need. Because the existing bathroom was no longer suitable for independent use, a solution was chosen in the utility room of the home.
For the installation, the existing water and drainage connections from the washing machine were used. This allowed the care shower to be installed quickly and without major modifications. To improve accessibility, a ramp was also provided, making the space easily accessible with a wheelchair. Thanks to this practical and quick solution, the resident was able to continue living independently at home in a safe and comfortable environment.
